How Poshmark fees work
Poshmark charges one commission when an item sells, and nothing to list it. According to Poshmark's fee page and the fee policy in its terms, a US sale under $15 pays a flat $2.95, and a sale of $15 or more pays 20%, so you keep 80%. Apart from the Texas tax covered below, the fee page lists no other selling fee.
The $15 line
The two fees meet near $15. At $14.99 the flat fee leaves you $12.04. At exactly $15 the 20% fee is $3.00, leaving $12.00. From about $15.05 upward, the percentage leaves you more than the flat fee would at $14.99. Below $15, the flat fee bites hard on cheap items: on a $5 sale it is 59% of the price, which is why many sellers bundle low-priced pieces or price them at $15 or more.
Shipping and shipping discounts
The buyer pays shipping. Poshmark's shipping rates page lists a flat $6.49 for a USPS Ground Advantage label, and a bundle ships for one fee if the package weighs 5 lb or less; any overweight cost is the seller's. If you offer a buyer a shipping discount, for example with an offer, the discount comes out of your earnings. Enter what the discount costs you and the calculator takes it off after the commission. Poshmark's fee page does not say whether the commission is worked out before or after a seller-paid discount, so check your first sale summary against this figure.
What you actually keep
Your earnings are the sale price minus the commission and any shipping discount. Add what you paid for the item to see profit. Offers and price drops change the sale price, so enter the price the item actually sold for, not the listing price. Poshmark's fee page does not explain how bundles are counted against the $15 line, so check a bundle's sale summary rather than relying on a single figure.
What this leaves out
Since October 1, 2025, sellers in Texas also have a Texas Seller Fee Tax taken from their earnings, which this calculator does not include. Poshmark Canada and other countries have their own fees. Shipping supplies, the time you spend listing, and any fees to move money out of Poshmark are not included either; add them to your cost if you want profit to reflect them.
